Sunny Cheng
Council Member, ISM-HK
Sunny Cheng is a finance and supply chain executive passionate about leveraging operational excellence as a vehicle for social impact. As Head of Finance at SF Supply Chain and council member of ISM-HK, he brings over two decades of strategic experience in supply chain operations, financial management, and social enterprise development across Asia.
Throughout his career, Sunny has championed the intersection of business performance and social responsibility. During his tenure as Group CFO at UCP Group (2020-2024), he oversaw finance, treasury, IT, and CSR functions, embedding social value considerations into strategic planning and investment decisions. At DHL Express, he founded and chaired the Social Contribution Board, pioneering corporate social responsibility initiatives that aligned operational efficiency with community benefit.
A strong advocate for using professional expertise to create positive change, Sunny serves as an executive member of the CUHK EMBA alumni association, where he leads the Social Contribution Pillar. He co-initiated DROPS—a social contribution program that extends the impact of the EMBA network to underserved organizations. His commitment extends to hands-on mentoring roles with ACCA and the Centre for Entrepreneurship at CUHK Business School, as well as active participation in social enterprises including SideBySide and Lensational.
Recognized as one of Hong Kong's Top 10 CFOs in 2023 by CEO Insights Magazine, Sunny demonstrates that financial rigor and social impact are mutually reinforcing. As an ISM-HK council member, he advocates for supply chain professionals to embrace their role as agents of positive societal change, believing that responsible supply management principles create lasting value for both business and community.
Singyee Chan
Council Member, ISM-HK
Singyee Chan is Director of Strategic Sourcing for APAC at Velcro Companies, bringing over 20 years of extensive experience in strategic procurement, manufacturing, product development and global supply chain management across diverse industries. Throughout her career, she has played a pivotal role in driving the success of numerous multinational organizations across Asia, including Malaysia, Singapore, China and Hong Kong.
At Velcro Companies, she is responsible for developing and executing procurement strategies, overseeing product development initiatives and managing the transition of manufacturing operations from North America and EMEA to Asia. Additionally, she supports new product launches and marketing campaigns to drive business growth. Previously, as Senior Director of Global Sourcing at ACCO Brands, she specialized in building strategic supplier partnerships and addressing complex geopolitical and tariff challenges by identifying off-shoring opportunities in emerging markets such as Vietnam, Malaysia, India, Indonesia, Taiwan and Mexico. Before joining ACCO Brands, she spent 15 years in the Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) industry, holding roles includes roles Director of Strategic Sourcing at Viasystems Asia Pacific, Global Commodity Manager at Flextronics International and Customer Supply Chain Specialist at Solectron Technology.
She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from University Putra Malaysia and an Executive Diploma in Merger and Acquisition (M&A) from The University of Hong Kong.
Outside of work, she is committed to maintaining a healthy work-life balance. She enjoys exploring new cultures and cuisines, traveling and connecting with people.
Alex Renes
Chairman Logistics Subgroup, ISM-HK
Alexander is working as a division manager for international logistics and development in REWE Group, Germany.
REWE Group is one of the leading retailer and tourism company in Europe.
Alexander has more than 15 years of experience in international logistics especially in maritime logistics.
In his career he has worked in all segments of international logistics – starting from the operations, controlling and Performance functions, up to tender negotiations and supply chain development and optimization.
Alexander created the ISM HK Logistics Subgroup to bring professionals in Logistics together for intense discussions and fruitful exchanges.
He is regularly organizing meetings and events where logistics experts from various industries are joining.
